What you'll do

Can you imagine an IT infrastructure world without manual configuration and management tasks? In this role it is your task to create this. The construction and lifecycle management of large IT landscapes at the push of a button up to the use of Al support.
As Developer (f/m/d), you will be part of the Cloud Provider Interface team developing automations to enable deployments of different SAP cloud offerings on Hyperscaler and SAP owned datacenters and to build the automation and integration into the existing operations tool set and processes. Leverage AI functionalities to ease and support end-user automation usage experience.
You will drive the process to transform and mature the prototyped code to a production ready solution that can become managed by the infrastructure operation teams. This includes continuous refinements of the prototyped solution and conducting knowledge transfer sessions to the relevant operation teams.


What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Studies in computer sciences or comparable subject (min. 4 Semester)
  • Ability to work in an international team
  • Software development skills in programming/scripting languages e.g., Python, JAVA, Perl …
  • Familiar with scrum development method and CI/CD deployment pipelines
  • General web services development skills HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful APIs, Open API, Swagger
  • Knowledge and experience with microservices, container, Kubernetes
  • Familiar with Linux operating system
  • Strong analytical and logical skills
  • Ability to familiarize oneself with existing Codebase
  • Willingness to learn and own initiative; Teamplayer but also autonomous work
  • Customer orientation with a strong focus on quality
  • Good English language skills fluent in spoken and written
  • Ideally but not necessarily you do have experience with:
    • usage of Public Cloud Infrastructures (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure etc.)
    • central infrastructure services (DNS, LDAP, NTP, Mail)
    • AI/ML Frameworks; Prompt Engineering; Usage of LLMs
  • Location: Dresden or Berlin

As part of Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery organization, we design, architect and build ultramodern infrastructure automation solutions in private and public clouds as basis for SAP's Intelligent Enterprise Solutions
