Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you'll build
We are searching for students (f/m/d) to support the Release Train Engineer (RTE) of a large SW development team in applying AI-driven approaches to agile planning, prioritization, data analysis, and automation across the ART — with a strong focus on Jira, Claude Code, and AI agents.
As a working student (f/m/d), you would support agile project management and agile delivery teams with following tasks:
- Support AI-enabled planning and prioritization of epics, concepts, and refinements using Jira data
- Develop and maintain Claude Code prompts for recurring ART use cases (e.g. weekly planning, capacity scheduling)
- Set up and experiment with AI agents (e.g. via MCP) connected to Jira and other tools
- Support the creation of AI-assisted dashboards, summaries, and decision inputs for RTE, Product Management, and leadership
- Prototype and test new AI use cases in an agile delivery context (planning, dependency analysis, forecasting)
What you bring
We seek people with distinctive academic credentials, strategic thinking, superior problem-solving skills, and a strong professional track record of results. In addition, we place high value on relevant personal qualities: Resourcefulness, tenacity, high energy, empathy and self-confidence. Desired skills are:

- Ability to work in an international, virtual team
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
- Remote work possible. 2 Officedays / Month in WDF expected
- Profound English skills required, German is a plus
- Applicants must have at least two semesters remaining in their studies
