ROLE DESCRIPTION

In collaboration with Digital Demand team in Cairo and key stakeholders in Barcelona, the Team Coordinator of the Digital Demand Associates (DDA) is responsible for the day-to-day operational coordination of the Cairo-based team of some 13 DDAs.

The role acts as the primary local point of contact, ensuring effective workload management, team rhythm, and delivery quality. It also serves as a key liaison between the Cairo office and the Barcelona Digital Hub, ensuring alignment with EMEA standards, processes, and best practices.

A strong understanding of demand generation processes and DDA activities is desired to ensure consistent execution, identify practical improvements, and maintain high-quality output for our EMEA sales teams

About the team:

Corporate and Digital are SAP’s fastest growth areas, particularly in the Cloud. Our goal is to accelerate SAP´s market share in the midmarket and scale Demand Generation and Sales efforts with digital modalities. The purpose of the Demand Intelligence Team (DIT) is to collaborate with Digital Campaign Managers and support Sales in their Demand Generation efforts. The DIT provides the data, tools, and process foundation to engage the right prospect, at the right time, with the right message. We are an international, diverse, and dynamic team located across SAP’s Barcelona Digital Hub and Cairo.

EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration and alignment with stakeholders, responsibilities include:

Team Operations & Coordination

  • Lead day-to-day operational coordination of the Cairo DDA team
  • Manage workload distribution, prioritization, and task balancing
  • Ensure team availability, responsiveness, and delivery quality
  • Act as first point of contact for team queries and escalations
  • Run weekly team meetings and operational check-ins
  • Maintain team discipline (working hours, communication, presence)

EMEA Alignment & Stakeholder Liaison

  • Act as bridge between Cairo and Barcelona teams (DCMs, Sales, stakeholders)
  • Ensure EMEA standards, processes, and best practices are consistently applied
  • Support clear communication and visibility across locations

Delivery Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure high standards in profiling, enrichment, and campaign support execution
  • Support correct usage of tools and adherence to processes
  • Identify and implement practical improvements to workflows and efficiency

Hiring, Onboarding & Team Development

  • Support DDA hiring process and candidate selection
  • Coordinate and improve structured onboarding for new hires
  • Monitor team performance and development needs

Program & Process Support

  • Contribute to documentation, training materials, and onboarding content
  • Support operational initiatives and improvements where needed

Community & Engagement

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment in Cairo
  • Ensure Cairo has a clear voice and presence within the broader EMEA setup

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND BEHAVIOR

  • Based in Cairo, Egypt (mandatory)
  • Fluent in English (mandatory), additional EMEA language is a plus
  • University degree in Business Administration, IT, Digital Transformation or similar
  • Ideally, 2–3 years relevant experience in demand generation, sales operations, or similar
  • Experience in team coordination, operations, or project support roles
  • Strong understanding of data handling, profiling, and campaign support processes
  • Comfortable working with tools and systems (e.g., CRM, outreach tools, data platforms)
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Clear communicator with ability to work across teams and cultures
  • Execution-focused mindset with ability to take ownership and drive outcomes
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
