Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What You'll Build
As a Senior Project Consultant/Program Manager, you will play a central role in driving how our organization plans, executes, and continuously improves the way we build and deliver products. You will own complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery, bringing rigor, structure, and a process improvement mindset to everything you touch.
You will support and contribute to AI-based internal initiatives aimed at improving team efficiency, reducing manual work, and modernizing our development and program management practices. You may work hands-on with tools like Jira and Aha to administer, refine, and implement workflows in partnership with central teams, ensuring consistency and scalability across product and engineering. You will also help define and operationalize the post-production feedback loop, building workflows that connect what ships with what customers experience and feeding those insights back into the development cycle.
What You'll Bring
Several years of progressive experience in technical program management or project management, with demonstrated ownership of large, complex cross-functional initiatives
A solid understanding of the end-to-end plan to build to deliver lifecycle, including how upstream PLM processes connect to engineering execution and post-production outcomes
Hands-on experience administering and refining workflows in Jira and/or Aha, including partnering with central tooling teams to roll out consistent practices across product and engineering
Experience defining post-production feedback workflows and the reporting mechanisms that close the loop between delivery and customer impact
An AI-curious mindset with interest or experience in adopting AI-based tools and methodologies to improve how teams operate and manage programs internally
Good technical fluency with development pipelines, source control platforms such as GitHub, and related engineering tooling, with the ability to engage credibly with engineering teams on processes
Demonstrated ability to develop detailed work plans, resource estimates, risk assessments, and status reports, and to monitor progress against milestones and budgets
Experience identifying and implementing process improvements that deliver measurable operational outcomes, with familiarity establishing KPIs to track them
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build productive partnerships across product, design, engineering, and data teams and convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Where You Belong
You are someone who brings order to complexity and takes pride in making the teams around you more effective. You are equally comfortable managing the details of a delivery plan and stepping back to ask whether the process itself could be better. You engage credibly with engineers and product managers alike, and you are not afraid to challenge the status quo when you see a smarter way to work.
You are energized by the idea of using AI and modern tooling to change how program management gets done, not just to automate tasks but to fundamentally improve the quality of planning and delivery. You are a trusted partner to the teams you support, an independent voice that keeps programs honest and moving forward. If you want to do meaningful operational work at the intersection of technology and process, this is where you belong.
