What you'll build: Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking professional to join our Global Procurement Organization as a Services Procurement Process and Solution Professional. In this strategic role, you will work on designing and optimizing the services procurement process—both from a process and technical perspective—while collaborating closely with our internal IT department to implement solutions within our Fieldglass Solutions. Your mission is to ensure seamless process adoption, maximize user enablement, and live SAP's commitment for SAP runs SAP to solve real-world procurement challenges. This is a unique opportunity to enhance compliance, simplify user experience, and become a customer-facing showcase of Fieldglass capabilities. Services Procurement Process Optimization: - Analyze current services procurement processes, concepts, policies and workflows and identify opportunities for simplification, efficiency, and compliance enhancement- Design end-to-end services procurement processes that balance ease-of-use with stringent regulatory and compliance requirements- Document and communicate process requirements to technical teams, ensuring alignment with SAP's procurement strategy and organizational standards- Drive continuous improvement by gathering user feedback and iterating on process design Fieldglass Solution Implementation & Configuration: - Collaborate with out internal IT and Fieldglass product management teams to configure, customize, and implement process improvements within the Fieldglass solution- Translate business process requirements into technical specifications and system configurations- Oversee testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure they meet functional and compliance requirements- Support system integrations between Fieldglass and other SAP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors, ERP systems) User Enablement & Adoption: - Develop comprehensive enablement strategies and materials (training guides, job aids, videos, documentation) to support end-user adoption- Design and deliver training programs targeted to different user personas (requesters, approvers, procurement teams, vendors)- Establish user support mechanisms and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement post-launch- Act as a subject matter expert for Fieldglass services procurement, providing guidance and troubleshooting support- Measure and monitor adoption metrics, identifying and addressing barriers to adoption Customer Showcase & Thought Leadership: - Position SAP as an industry leader by showcasing how we leverage Fieldglass within our own procurement operations- Prepare case studies, demonstrations, and business impact narratives that highlight the effectiveness of our services procurement process- Support customer engagements by sharing best practices, lessons learned, and implementation insights- Contribute to thought leadership content that demonstrates SAP's commitment to using our own solutions Compliance & Governance: - Ensure all process designs and system configurations align with SAP's compliance requirements and corporate governance frameworks- Maintain documentation and governance standards for the services procurement process- Support audit and compliance reviews, ensuring process integrity and adherence to internal controls What you bring: The ideal candidate brings a strong background in services procurement, process optimization, and technology enablement, including: Experience & Expertise: - Proven experience in designing, optimizing, and implementing services or contingent workforce procurement processes across multiple business units or geographies- Hands-on experience with Fieldglass or similar VMS/procurement solutions, with a strong understanding of system capabilities, configuration, and user experience- Technical acumen with the ability to bridge business and IT worlds—comfortable working with technical teams while translating requirements for business stakeholders- Project management experience leading cross-functional implementations, ideally in a large Where you belong: The Technology, Supplier Management & Governance (TSG) team is the engine room of SAP's Global Procurement Organization.
