What you`ll build:

We are looking for a senior Product Owner for Data Quality Management with strong focus on Data Management and Cloud application development. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading the team for designing advanced data management solutions and implementing data architecture standards to ensure data integrity and security. Your responsibilities will also include leading the development of scalable and efficient applications, aligning them with the latest industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation and ensuring the robustness of our data systems and applications.

As Senior Technical Product Owner you are responsible for

  • Product Delivery: Manage the delivery of multiple products, including Data Quality Services (embedded microservices), Crystal Record (SAP’s internal third-party data management platform), and other data management services such as Matching and Standardization, Data Deduplication, and Address Cleansing.

  • Capability Ownership: Serve as the owner of the Data Quality Management capability for CPIT’s AI & Data Platform. Define the strategic direction of Data Quality Management at SAP, including the development of a data quality architecture and the integration of cutting-edge technology trends through various Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives.

  • Collaboration & coordination: Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including development teams, product owners, business owners, architects, and enterprise architects, to ensure cross-team alignment and compliance with agreed-upon standards. Organization and facilitation of workshop is also part of the role.

What You Bring :

  • 10+ years of professional working experience in IT or developer role with strong technical exposure.

  • Experience in SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript.

  • Proven knowledge of Databricks, SAP Business Data Cloud, HANA Cloud, SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward.

  • Understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).

  • Experienced in agile delivery methodologies, ideally the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and good understanding of DevOps.

  • Ability to develop and drive the product vision and roadmap and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with customer needs and stakeholder feedback.

  • Goal-oriented, exact, and self-organized workstyle and the strive for excellence.

  • Proper expertise in stakeholder management, communication and coordination.

  • Demonstrate skills in delivering high-quality products and collaborating efficiently with teams.

  • Ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural team.

  • Proven ability to lead code reviews and effectively mentor junior developers.

  • Ability to quickly learn and master new technologies.

  • Self-starter with natural curiosity and willingness to learn and explore new areas, be open to new approaches, and think outside the box.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
