About the Role

As Senior Procurement Expert (f/m/d) – COE / PMO & Special Projects, you will be a key member of our Leadership Team, acting as the right hand to the Head of General Procurement. This role is pivotal in driving transformation towards best-practice procurement, structuring processes, and leading strategic initiatives across the organization.

You will orchestrate governance, project management, and special projects, ensuring transparency, compliance, and digital enablement. Additionally, you will play a critical role in our AI transformation journey—designing processes, structuring data, and building solutions that make our procurement function AI-ready for the future.

Your work will empower the team to embrace change, build strong business partnerships, and deliver measurable impact.

What You’ll Build

The COE/PMO role ensures that procurement projects and special initiatives are delivered effectively, leveraging best practices in project management, governance, and digital tools. This position acts as the backbone for cross-functional projects, audit readiness, and process optimization, enabling transparency and strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain PMO governance for procurement projects.
  • Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of special projects (audit, compliance, sponsorship policy/process, external workforce).
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, dashboards, and visualization tools.
  • Drive process optimization and root cause analysis for project-related issues.
  • Implement digital solutions (Power BI, Power Apps) for reporting and automation.
  • Support risk management and audit readiness across procurement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication for strategic initiatives.
  • Design and structure processes for AI readiness, enabling future automation and intelligent insights.

  • Skilled in using AI tools and transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to enable others through clear guidance and support.
  • Strong business partnering capabilities, building trust and alignment with stakeholders.

Education and Qualifications / Skills & Competencies

  • Several years of experience in Procurement, PMO, Project Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Expertise in governance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps, and visualization tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
