What you’ll build

As a Senior Business Processes Consultant within our Center of Expertise (CoE) for Procurement, you will deliver high-impact customer engagements across both functional and technical areas, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba. You will drive customer success and innovation in the procurement area. The dynamic nature of customer situations makes this role both challenging and rewarding. Key Responsibilities: Drive Customer Transformation & Adoption: Support our customers in their journey towards SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba solutions. We place a strong emphasis on design review activities, as well as providing comprehensive support for prototyping and Proof of Concept development for both standard and custom solutions. Analyze & Optimize Processes: Evaluate complex procurement-focused business processes, perform root cause analysis, and optimize processes in diverse system landscapes. Deliver Expert Services: Collaborate with experts from our own and other CoEs to provide remote and on-site services, including system optimization, conceptual planning, and empowering customers with the latest best practice knowledge. Embrace Flexibility: Navigate the constantly changing customer situations with a high degree of flexibility and adapt your approach to each new customer. Travel Requirements: Regular travel may be required, with an estimated range of 10-20%

What you bring

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Extensive SAP Procurement Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years delivering services, projects, or support for SAP Procurement solutions (SAP ERP MM, SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass)
  • End-to-end business process expertise in S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay/Source-to-Pay, SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass
  • Strong functional knowledge of customizing, setup, and configuration Advanced Analytical and Technical Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities o Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, and ABAP
  • Technical expertise in SAP systems, integration architecture, ABAP, and HANA Database Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management:
  • Business fluency in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in German is strongly advantageous
  • Proven experience interacting with C-level sponsors Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Engineering/Administration, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Cloud Solutions, Business Technology Platform, IoT, AI, big data, and blockchain is a plus
  • Demonstrated dedication to staying current with solution advancements and industry trends o Excellent root cause analysis and debugging skills
