What you'll buid

We are looking for Senior Site Reliability Engineers to join our brand new SRE team with a focus on K8S Unified Gateway Services.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you will:

  • Act as a role model and multiplier of best practices with your technical expertise and soft skills
  • Actively shares knowledge and participate in your colleagues technical development
  • Adopt and propose new tools and practices that enable the team to gain deeper insights into system/services behavior, performance and reliability
  • Strive for and enable proactive approach to Incident Management, alerting and recommended actions to reduce risk of failure
  • Be able to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies
  • Apply latest security standards in our day to day work and software solutions
  • Build and maintain automation code and tools
  • Build observability based on user experience and key user journeys
  • Collaborate closely with Development teams, other technical and non-technical teams in international environment to achieve commitments
  • Drive projects with impact not only for your team but the whole SRE organization
  • Be part of weekend and overnight on-call rotation if technical expert is needed during Live site situations (downtime or performance degradation of services in scope). It comes with special compensation package.

What you bring

The following skills and competencies will bring you closer to meeting with us:

  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications or related technical area
  • Experience as Senior DevOps/SRE or other relevant position
  • Experience with K8S
  • Excellent understanding of cloud architecture and/or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Excellent understanding of virtualization
  • Excellent understanding/experience of/with Network concepts in the cloud (examples but not limited to - TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/2, TLS, NAT, VPN, FW, etc)
  • Good Understanding of Envoy Proxy and Service Mesh Technologies.
  • Monitoring, logging and visualization tools like Dynatrace, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, etc
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, Terraform, Postgres
  • Experience with Programming languages like Python, Bash, Go, etc
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Concourse
  • Understanding of security concepts in the cloud (examples but not limited to - Identity and access management, authentication, Certificates management, malware, etc)
  • Be able to work efficiently in critical situations and have an affinity to analyze and solve problems quickly
  • Be a real team player, self-motivated, proactive and continuous learner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English

If you have knowledge and experience in any of the following areas, it will be considered an advantage:

  • Experience with Linux/Unix
  • Experience with PKI and Cryptographic applications, Application attacks
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
