What you’ll do

As a Senior Developer (f/m/d) you will be joining our newly established CAP Team in Munich. You will help us in shaping the BTP development experience by building and maintaining integrations between CAP and available BTP services in an innovative, agile, and pragmatic fashion.

Your responsibilities include to:

  • Conceptualize, design, implement, and test features end-to-end along the product backlog.
  • Drive and coordinate concepts, designs, and development within the team and beyond.
  • Actively participate in code and design reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align technical concepts, establish a close relationship, and channel their feedback back into the development cycle.

What you bring

  • University degree in computer science or an equivalent field and a profound knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns, and architecture principles.
  • Professional programming skills in one or more of Java, JavaScript, Typescript, and experience in at least one backend framework such as Spring Boot or NodeJS.
  • Extensive professional experience in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment incl. the usage of development tools like Git/GitHub, Maven, NPM, and others.
  • Proven experience with web-based API practices like REST, OpenAPI Specification, GraphQL, OData, JSON.
  • Reliable and open-minded with strong team working skills and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and to prioritize.
  • 5+ years of professional working experience in software development.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German language skills are beneficial.

  • Experience with SAP BTP runtimes (Cloud Foundry / Kyma) and its core services.
