What you’ll build As a (Senior) Developer (f/m/d) for SAP Build Process Automation, you'll build reliable and scalable services for end-to-end automation of customer processes. These span across entire enterprises and range from simple approval workflows to innovative AI-powered processes at a global scale. We are looking for you, a (Senior) Developer (f/m/d) with a passion for learning who wants to apply the latest technologies to build, run, and operate state-of-the-art microservices for process execution. Together, we want to evolve the heart of SAP Build Process Automation on SAP's Business Technology Platform. In your day-to-day work as a (Senior) Developer (f/m/d) within a Scrum team, you'll focus on product development (backend, and if required frontend) while applying cutting-edge technologies like TypeScript, NestJS, Java, Spring, GitHub Copilot, JavaScript, Cloud Foundry, Postgres, Kafka, Dynatrace. You have an eye on high automation to ensure efficient development and fast, staged deliveries into our data centers. What you bring

  • University degree in Computer- or Natural Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2-6 years of experience in professional software engineering in Java and Typescript/JavaScript.
  • You care about code quality. You're experienced with agile development, TDD, and CI/CD as tools to write clean and maintainable code.
  • You're a problem-solver who enjoys breaking down complex challenges and is willing to explore new tools and technologies. You take ownership of your work, proactively learn, and enjoy helping your colleagues succeed.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts; German language skills are beneficial.
  • Beneficial: Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform.
