What you`ll do

We are looking for a team-oriented and results-driven Software Developer (f/m/d), who likes to follow agile engineering practices and is enthusiastic to gain knowledge in the architecture and processes of SAP’s cloud solutions.

As a Software Developer (f/m/d) within the RDP (Responsible Design & Production) team you will:

• Become an active part of the complete software life cycle of our cloud solution (backlog definition, specification, design, implementation, quality assurance, delivery, operation, and maintenance)

• Take the responsibility for software components and services

• Possess software development skills with a passion to build high quality applications

• Deliver your assigned tasks / responsibilities on time, ensure quality and performance

• Work in agile development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently as well as be flexible

• Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside of your teams (Scrum/Scrum of Scrum) and as well with the management

What you bring

• University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• Good skills in object-oriented programming, tools and platforms (Java, Javascript/UI5, Node.js, Git, Deployment Pipeline, RDBMS, Cloud Foundry)

• Knowledge in Software Design Patterns and Software Engineering like micro services, message queuing or API design

• Ability to work in an international, agile product development environment

• Analytical and architectural skills

• Ability to easily acquire understanding in new areas

• Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English; German is a plus

• First software development experience
