MEET YOUR TEAM

SAP Ariba Buyer Engineering Initiatives and Release Management team is dedicated to build a next generation solution for specific industry customers, which is intuitive, innovative and easy to use. Our solutions will be widely used by customers across various domains like O&G, Information Technology etc. We challenge ourselves to learn about the industry processes and translate them into a product with usability being the centrepiece and delight our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be member of the core Ariba Procurement Product team in Bangalore, SAP Ariba. In this role, you will

  • Build a Procurement solution for Ariba to become market leader in Services Procurement.
  • Venture into the procurement domain and understand the business concepts in procurement.
  • Work on key areas of Procurement components, Ariba User Community and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Work on a cloud-based procurement solution and learn cloud concepts
  • Work in core components for the Ariba cloud that include persistence, meta-data model, object model framework and performance analysis.
  • Work on solving scalability and performance problems.
  • Work on Ariba technology stack along with latest technologies like Angular/Micro services.
  • Write design specifications, and subsequently implement and unit test the software
  • Work closely with solution managers, architects, user interaction designers, and QA engineers.
  • Mentor new/junior developers and guide them towards their deliverables

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8-12 years of experience in designing and coding web-based applications
  • Solid command of OOD principles with proficiency in Core Java, J2EE and REST & SOAP based Web services.
  • Strong working knowledge on at least one MVC framework
  • Strong Database concepts and experience with at least 1 database technology (i.e. SQL or NoSQL)
  • Experience in any one UI Based technology like Angular JS is a plus
  • Knowledge on Spring Boot & Microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge in Drupal 11, Devops, GIT Copilot, Maven, and Jenkins
  • You should be having sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns. You should be able to apply algorithms to optimize code to build super-fast solutions. Able to provide design/solutions to complex requirements in the application.
