YOUR FUTURE ROLE

  • Responsibility for Cloud Bookings and Renewal Rate Actuals and close alignment with stakeholders from the business.
  • Work closely and in an effective collaboration with our Business partners in the Regions as a trusted business advisor by understanding the business needs, behavior, and supporting them in their controlling requirements.
  • Think cross-boundaries and provide in-depth analysis to support senior management in achieving the company’s objectives.
  • Communicate proactively with key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement process, especially in the context of the automation / improvement of major business processes.
  • Work closely and in an effective collaboration with Business Units / Regions as a Trusted Business Advisor by understanding the business needs, behavior, and supporting them in their controlling requirements.


YOUR PROFILE

  • Graduate of a University (Bachelor or Master)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to address complex problems under pressure while coping with deadlines
  • Self-managed working style with high customer orientation
  • Deep analytical skills and a high affinity for business processes and their steady improvement
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office products
  • Ability to work in international teams and communicate both face to face as well as through virtual communication channels
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)
  • Knowledge of Cloud Business Model is a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding in ISP, CRM / Harmony, or BW is a plus
  • Knowledge of O2C, O2I or other sales related processes is a plus
  • Experience within Controlling is a plus
  • Experience in a fast-moving business environment

ABOUT THE TEAM
Organizationally located within Global Controlling, the Cloud Controlling CoE team acts as trusted business partner for SAPs Finance (e.g. LoB CFOs), Portfolio and Cloud Business organization. The team actively engages in steering SAP’s strive for operational excellence. Hereby, a high-quality standard in analysis, reporting and supporting educated decision-making is essential to succeed. Our Portfolio comprises: Cloud Topline: Cloud Revenue & CCB, Cloud Bookings & Renewals; Cloud Total Cost of Operations (TCO); Cloud Floor Pricing; Cloud Capacity Management. Within the Cloud CoE we are working closely together to ensure the best outcome for SAP.

The Cloud Bookings & Renewal Center of Expertise (CoE) is a special unit within Cloud Controlling CoE with a focus on New & Upsell Booking and the Renewal Rate/Churn of SAP. Major objective is to centrally provide Controlling services for Cloud Bookings, Renewals/Churn related Cross Financial topics to the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board and the Regional and LoB Presidents. The task portfolio comprises amongst others the definition of guidelines and reporting standards, or the calculation and validation of Cloud N&U and Renewal Rates per Sub Solution Area (SSA) in close collaboration with our business stakeholders from Cloud Customer Success (CSS).
