Position title: SAP Strategy and Operations iXp Intern – SAP CSM Communication & Process Intern
Location: NYC, US
Expected start date: April 15, 2026 – Dec 15, 2026

The Communications and Process Intern will be responsible for assisting with internal communications strategies and data that helps drive those strategies. The Intern is responsible for internal communications out to our CSM organization and ensures the content is engaging, on-brand and effective in driving customer outcomes. Additionally, they will be responsible for assisting with generating data insights for management through a variety of tools, and helping to create action plans based off that data. The Intern is expected to work with our Operations teams and CSM management to help drive CSM initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction.

This hybrid role will be split evenly between communications and technical program support.

As an intern, you will:

  • Support the Global Operations Manager and team to improve efficiency, communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist with the planning, drafting and delivery of internal and external communications (newsletters, stakeholder updates, presentations, digital content).
  • Ensure knowledge management is maintained correctly
  • Organize and support project management activities.
  • Learn SAP data insight tools and provide insights using those skills
  • Suggest ideas and implement improvements for internal processes.
  • Support the preparation of executive presentations and communication materials.
  • Coordinate the follow-up of weekly team meetings and track action items.
  • Participate in new initiatives that drive the success of the Customer Success organization.

This role will enhance team capacity, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and directly contribute to the successful rollout of new CSM programs. You will also gain a solid foundation and understanding of how SAP’s global Customer Success organization operates while working in a dynamic international team.

Educational requirements:

• Currently enrolled at a university in Communications, Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. For recent graduates, joining date must be within six months of graduation date.

Position requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical processes into clear, engaging content.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple regions in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

• Flexible, self-aware, motivated and open to feedback.

• Strong interest in Customer Success, process improvement and operations in the tech industry.

Desired skills/experience:

• Interest and/or experience in communications, copywriting, video creation, graphic design, and storytelling.
• Familiarity with communication tools (e.g., MS Office, Canva, SharePoint or similar).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15 - 62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
