What You’ll Build
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.
Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Programs and Deal Design – Deal Success Center Americas
Location: USA – Virtual/NSQ
Expected start date: May/June 2026
Duration: 6 Months (potential for extension)
Schedule: 40 Hours per week
The Deal Success Center defines and architects how SAP software solutions are implemented for customers across the Americas region (North America and Latin America). The team delivers services solutioning and estimation support for SAP project delivery, working closely with sales and delivery teams to guide customers through strategic approaches that result in comprehensive, high-quality solution proposals. These efforts drive successful outcomes for customers, partners, and SAP.
Serving as a central hub, the Deal Success Center brings together sales and delivery teams by analyzing customer requirements, developing accurate estimates, and recommending the most effective services for each SAP implementation. The team also continuously enhances its solutioning capabilities by improving processes, tools, and deliverables—fostering innovation and driving operational excellence.
To continuously enhance and evolve our capabilities, the team focuses on three key strategic programs:
- Integrated Solutioning: Establish and implement standardized processes, best practices, and governance models that integrate traditional consulting services with SAP’s strategic offerings.
- Accelerated Frameworks: Leverage solutioning tools and artificial intelligence to enable end-to-end solutioning aligned with corporate objectives, accelerating sales cycles, improving customer outcomes, and increasing delivery efficiency.
- Operational Excellence: Drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness across the entire solutioning lifecycle through a clearly defined engagement model.
As an intern, you will contribute to one or more of these strategic programs, gaining valuable insight into the Deal Success Center’s operations. You may take ownership of specific deliverables or collaborate with team members on cross-program initiatives. Additionally, you may support solution architects in qualifying opportunities, planning resources, and managing solutioning activities for active sales pursuits.
Expectations & Tasks:
- Work under the guidance of team members to deliver high-quality, innovative outputs aligned with one or more strategic programs, consistently meeting established deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery, and solution architects, to support the development of comprehensive and competitive solution proposals.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by actively sharing knowledge, insights, and best practices using platforms such as SharePoint and WorkZone.
- Create, refine, and enhance portfolio-based templates, playbooks, and reusable assets to standardize and improve solutioning efficiency and consistency.
- Support the development of internal marketing and communication materials that clearly articulate solution offerings, value propositions, and strategic initiatives.
- Assist in analyzing customer requirements, project scope, and key assumptions to contribute to accurate solution design and effort estimation.
- Participate in the qualification, planning, and staffing of sales pursuits by supporting solution architects with research, documentation, and coordination activities.
- Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and solutioning platforms to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance the quality and speed of deliverables.
- Explore opportunities to integrate AI-driven insights into the solutioning process, including data analysis, content generation, and continuous improvement of frameworks and tools.

Skills/Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Educational Requirements
Preferred candidate is an early-career professional, recent graduate, or an individual currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (intern-level).
Qualifications
- Highly motivated and proactive learner with the ability to independently research topics and develop informed perspectives
- Proven leadership and facilitation skills in team and group settings
- Proficiency in English required; Spanish language skills are a plus
- Preferred fields of study include International Business, Business Systems & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Management & Leadership, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline
