With the creation of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Federal Australian Agencies we’re building a high-performance team to guide major agencies through the how of ERP migration — with proven strategy, expert delivery, and scalable, lasting impact.
Initially, an 18-month transformation program, with 9 months left of this initial program, this high-profile, strategic initiative will be the successful candidate’s initial assignment, before transitioning into the broader Customer Success and Delivery area to extend the best practices and knowledge gained there.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As a Consultant in SAP Procurement, you will be part of a team which is focussed on securing our customers’ success. Your role is to maximize the value our clients achieve from the adoption of SAP Procurement solutions.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
SAP consultants are expected to be able to work independently and as part of a team, often alongside our Partners, as well as leading project teams and other engagements. They must adhere to the highest professional and technical standards and be able to develop strong relationships both internally and with our customers.
Your role will include:
- Procurement solution consulting across the entire lifecycle of a project
- Reviews of customers’ solutions and ad hoc engagements, including presales activities, developing customer solutions and estimates
- Developing a deep knowledge of SAP’s innovations for Procurement, particularly S/4HANA and related Cloud extension solutions, plus passionately articulating their value to our customers.
- Provision of strategic advice on solution architecture and adoption roadmaps
- Delivering profitable projects for SAP using the Activate methodology and leveraging accelerators such as our packaged Services and Best Practises, as well as working with our offshore delivery centres.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 7 years of SAP implementation experience in core SAP Procurement solutions
- Demonstrated experience providing strategic guidance to customers, performing reviews and working on sales opportunities
- Experience across a range of industries and countries
- Team lead or project management experience
- Experience working across multiple ends to end projects
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Expert knowledge of core SAP Procurement modules, plus their integration to other SAP modules and products.
- As well as functional knowledge, SAP Consultants must be able to provide expert business process knowledge and apply this to each customer, as well as understanding the specific features of Public Sector industry
- Broad experience of S/4HANA Procurement and related components, including Fiori
- Knowledge of Procurement reporting tools and Business Data Cloud would be a plus
- Process modelling experience
- Knowledge of SAP BTP based Procurement solution extensions and innovations
- Experience with SAP Activate project methodology and accelerators, including Best Practises
- Exceptional consulting skills including the ability to work independently, manage priorities and communicate effectively at all levels of the customer organization
