Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you will build: In this role, you will actively support the Global Tax Pillar Two team in delivering compliance and operational readiness for the OECD Global Minimum Tax rules across multiple jurisdictions. Your work will contribute directly to ensuring accurate tax reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective communication across a global organization.

You will:

  • Assist in preparing Pillar Two Global Minimum Tax obligations for various countries, including notifications, tax returns, prepayments, and related filings
  • Support the review and translation of Pillar Two legislation, tax forms, and guidance from local languages into English
  • Monitor global Pillar Two developments and news alerts, helping organize and summarize key updates for the team
  • Conduct research on Pillar Two guidance, regulations, and country-specific requirements
  • Assist with drafting internal memos, documentation, and technical summaries
  • Support administrative and coordination tasks such as purchase order creation, supplier ID identification, billing and invoice follow-ups
  • Communicate and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to gather required information and support ongoing compliance efforts

Your work will directly impact how the organization responds to new, complex global tax regulations and helps ensure smooth implementation across systems, processes, and teams.

What You Bring

We are looking for a motivated student or early-career candidate who is eager to learn and grow in an international tax environment. You do not need to meet every requirement to succeed in this role.

Essential requirements (5–7 key skills):

  • Basic understanding of tax principles, accounting (IFRS and/or local GAAP), and corporate finance
  • Fundamental knowledge of corporate income tax concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn, curiosity, and a proactive working attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in complex, cross-functional, and international environments
  • Fluency in English with professional working proficiency
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel (e.g., data analysis, formulas, pivot tables)

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of German language
  • Prior internship or practical experience in tax, accounting, or finance
  • Exposure to or interest in automation and analytics tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, or similar technologies

We value transferable skills and a growth mindset over years of experience. Students from adjacent fields with a strong interest in international taxation are encouraged to apply.

Where You Belong

You will join SAP's Global Tax organization, working closely with the Pillar Two Global Minimum Tax team. SAP is a global technology company, and Pillar Two introduces new and highly complex tax rules that require significant data analysis, system changes, and cross-border collaboration for large multinational enterprises.

Our team is highly diverse, with members located across multiple countries and regions. We collaborate closely across functions, time zones, and cultures, sharing knowledge and supporting one another as we navigate evolving regulatory requirements.

This role offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Gain hands-on experience with one of the most significant global tax reforms in recent years
  • Work in an international, inclusive, and intellectually curious environment
  • Develop technical tax knowledge, research capabilities, and digital/automation skills
  • Learn and grow alongside experienced tax professionals in a rapidly evolving area

If you are curious about global taxation, enjoy working in an international setting, and want to contribute to meaningful, real-world impact, you will thrive in this team.
