Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
Location: Candidates can be based anywhere in the US, and open for up to 70% travel.
What you’ll build: In this role, you will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for SAP’s largest and most important customers. You will be responsible for creating strategic and tactical roadmaps that guide the deployment of SAP’s digital solutions, and for developing compelling business cases to help our customers’ strategic decision-making. You will provide comprehensive advice on long- and short-term opportunities for key strategic imperatives, recommending innovations that anticipate future directions for both business and IT stakeholders in the Asset Management and Aftermarket area, with a particular focus on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul activities.
Your work will involve:
- Facilitating collaborative architecture discussions with customer IT and business executives.
- Working effectively across multiple functions and teams to define clear requirements for achieving business outcomes.
- Analyzing key business and IT requirements in the Asset Management/Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) area, focusing on MRO Services and Spare Parts Planning.
- Developing strategic roadmaps for the Asset Management and Aftermarket area, encompassing the evolution of enterprise business solution portfolios from current to future states.
- Identifying improvement potentials within the Asset Management and Aftermarket area, with particular focus on Federal customers and Aerospace & Defense (A&D).
- Influencing transition states toward joint business outcomes by leveraging SAP solution value.
What you bring:
We are looking for someone who combines deep technical knowledge with strong consulting and leadership skills. You should be able to thrive in a dynamic environment and translate complex business challenges into strategic solutions.
Your qualifications and experience should include:
- Excellent interpersonal skills in teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation, with the ability to lead customer engagements at an executive level.
- Proven excellent knowledge in complex Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Asset Management processes, coupled with deep implementation knowledge in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and cloud solutions for MRO, ideally within the Federal sector (DoD) or Aerospace & Defense (A&D).
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, enabling you to present and discuss strategies and technical information effectively, build rapport, persuade others, and ensure understanding for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives.
- 5+ years of SAP solution experience.
- 5+ years of management consulting experience.
- 10+ years of solution and/or architecture (business & IT) experience.
- MBA preferred.
