Sales Development Representative

What you’ll do
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team in Italy. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and supporting the sales pipeline.
As the first point of contact for many prospects, you will play a key role in generating interest in our products/services and setting the foundation for successful long-term client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with people, is proactive in outreach, and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
More specifically, the role includes:
- Proactively calling into accounts in order to generate appointments for the sales team
- Qualification and nurture of inbound leads through to appointment stage
- Contact data from internal CRM system (Salesforce.com). The candidate will also be expected to research prospective companies to obtain contact details and other basic profile information
- Follow-up on specific marketing campaigns
- Overcome objections and effectively communicate Concur’s value propositions to key decision makers.
- Collate information on prospective clients, even when an appointment is not obtained
- Maintain strong relationships by working closely with sales team
- Achieve monthly accepted appointment targets.
- Operates under supervision with frequent reviews of work.
- Log all calls in CRM (Salesforce.com) and monitor success rates, regular use of sequencing tools such as Outreach and social platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
What you bring
- Preferred 1-3 years of experience in Sales Development, Inside Sales, Business Development or similar roles in a B2B environment
- curiosity, and the ability to assimilate information quickly in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment.
- Excellent understanding of CRM hygiene and familiarity with tools such as Sales Navigator, and prospecting databases (e.g., ZoomInfo).
- A consultative approach and ability to strongly collaborate with Sales and Marketing
- Fluent in Italian and familiar with good understanding of enterprise‑level organisations in the Italian market
- Sales‑driven mindset: motivated by targets, KPIs, and pipeline creation.
- Excellent understanding of prospecting tools such as sales navigator, SFDC reporting, Outreach, Zoominfo
- A positive, energetic, and results‑oriented attitude, with the willingness to learn and grow within the SAP Concur ecosystem.
