SAP for Me is your digital companion to easily interact with SAP and get immediate guidance to the best solution for you. SAP for Me aggregates important alerts, metrics, and insights about your SAP product portfolio with a single access point.

We seek an experienced ​​Product Owner (PO)​​ to join our Scrum team. You will own the product vision, strategy, and backlog for our Customer Service Management solutions (leveraging platforms like ServiceNow, SAP BTP, CRM). You will bridge business needs and technical execution to maximize value delivery, ensuring solutions directly improve SAP’s customer experience.

What You Will Do

As the Product Owner, you will:

  • ​Own the Product Vision & Backlog:​​ Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities. Manage, refine, and prioritize the product backlog for the Scrum team.
  • ​Maximize Value Delivery:​​ Ensure the team delivers high-value features aligned with business goals (simplification, customer experience, operational efficiency) in the Customer Service Management domain (e.g., Case Management, Knowledge Management).
  • ​Define Requirements:​​ Translate business needs and stakeholder input into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • ​Stakeholder Collaboration:​​ Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (Service Management, Operations), customers, and the development Scrum team. Manage expectations and communicate progress effectively.
  • ​Guide Agile Execution:​​ Actively participate in all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Reviews, Retrospectives). Make timely decisions and clarify requirements to keep the team productive.
  • ​Focus on Outcomes:​​ Define and track key product success metrics (KPIs). Validate delivered features meet business objectives and customer needs.
  • ​Market & Platform Awareness:​​ Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies (ServiceNow, SAP BTP, CRM) and ITSM/ITOM trends to inform backlog prioritization.
  • ​Drive Continuous Improvement:​​ Collaborate with the Scrum Master and team to identify and implement process improvements based on feedback and retrospectives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in an Agile software development environment (Scrum essential).
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and backlog management techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and customer needs into actionable product requirements and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience working on enterprise applications, IT service management (ITSM), customer service solutions, or related domains is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in oral and written English is mandatory
