The Product Marketing Manager, APAC Growth Markets, is responsible for developing and executing product marketing initiatives across direct and channel sales, including SAP Concur’s customer base. This individual will set the product marketing strategy for Concur Request, Travel, Expense and Invoice solutions and extended services to all verticals across specific enterprise growth markets in Asia/Pacific, and execute this strategy by leveraging multiple functional areas within Concur including Global Product Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, Client Development, Solution Consulting, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Client Services, and Global Operations.

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, with a strong product marketing background and strong communication skills (verbal, presentation and writing) due to the high level of direct prospect/customer interaction.

Reports to the Director of APAC Product Marketing, with a dotted line to local management of specific enterprise growth markets in Asia/Pacific.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop offers for SAP Concur products and services which drive enterprise subscription revenue and unit sales, both from new prospects and the Concur global customer base:
    • Develop offers to drive revenue to net new prospects
    • Develop offers to drive additional add-on revenue from existing customers
    • Develop offers to drive revenue via reseller and partner channels
  • Work closely with Global Product Marketing and Product Management re: product roadmap efforts and product releases. Draft business cases to support new product development relevant when required
  • Identify and coordinate development of sales aids and enablement for Sales, Client Development, Business Development and reseller/partner channels
  • Manage the go-to-market launch process for new product and services
  • Collaborates with Business Development on existing channel partner sales strategies and potential partner targets
  • Contribute to the efforts to drive leads and build market awareness by working closely with Market Development and Marketing
  • Drive external product awareness through analyst relations and speaking engagements
  • Contribute to the Concur International User Conference and Regional User Conference agenda development and presentation of conference content
  • Interact with external customers, Global Product Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, Client Development, Solution Consulting, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Client Services, Global Operations, and reseller/partner channels
  • Operate under moderate supervision
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies

Education, Experience & Training required:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Product Marketing Manager within an on-demand services or software company
  • Experience with equipping and supporting sales professionals
  • Experience with SaaS/Cloud products preferred
  • Experience in Asia/Pacific enterprise markets, preferably India and South Korea
  • Experience in customer-facing roles
  • Experience with partner and reseller channels
  • BS/BA in Marketing or equivalent is required
  • MBA is preferred
  • Work experience in a small business unit of a large multinational preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check
