YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As the management consultancy of SAP, SAP Business Transformation Services (BTS) supports customers in their digital transformation journey. A major factor for doing so successfully is to understand our customers' business and IT needs and act as their trusted advisor for the business transformation journey.

The Public Sector in Germany is undergoing significant digital transformation efforts to enhance citizen services, improve operational efficiency, and foster innovation. We are looking for someone who can serve as a trusted advisor for our Public Sector clients, collaborating with them to define, realize, and optimize their digital transformation journeys.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 10+ years’ work experience as an SAP Business Consultant (f/m/d), with at least 4+ years in the Public Sector with proven project management experience
  • Strong understanding of trends and challenges in the Public Sector, including digital government initiatives
  • Experience in working with Public Sector organizations on projects related to digital transformation, citizen services, and operational efficiency improvements and experience in being part of large SAP transformation programs within the Public Sector
  • Experience in communicating with C-suite leaders in the Public Sector
  • Broad knowledge of SAP’s strategy, the latest product portfolio (SAP S/4HANA, cloud, and related solutions), and their impact on Public Sector strategies
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture projects, SAP-related architecture, and roadmap assessments
  • Basic knowledge of innovation topics such as Business Model Innovation, Design Thinking, and emerging technologies
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to work conceptually, with a focus on quality and results-driven engagements
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to design and prepare high-impact presentations
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new tasks/challenges in an innovative environment
  • Proven leadership skills in leading and motivating teams, leading panels, and discussions
  • Constructive and open style of communication as a team player
  • Experience in self-managed project work with a high focus on customer orientation
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related discipline
  • Excellent German and English language skills
