Where you belong

You'll join a global engineering team building intelligent cloud engineering platforms for the life cycle management of SAP HANA Cloud. Our team combines full-stack software engineering, cloud infrastructure engineering, and AI to deliver next-generation engineering services. You'll collaborate with software engineers, platform engineers, and AI practitioners to turn emerging AI capabilities into reliable production-grade platform features.

What you'll build

You'll design, build, and operate platform capabilities supporting software delivery, release engineering, and intelligent cloud operations for SAP HANA Cloud. You'll develop end-to-end solutions spanning microservices, APIs, modern web applications, deployment pipelines, and cloud platform integrations. You'll also build AI-powered platform capabilities by integrating LLMs and other AI technologies into engineering workflows, enabling intelligent software analysis, release decision support, and operational automation across HANA Cloud environments.

What you'll bring

You have hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications and platform services with strong software engineering fundamentals. You are proficient in full-stack development using modern programming languages and frameworks, and are comfortable working with cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code. Beyond software engineering, you have practical experience applying AI technologies, including LLMs, AI frameworks, model APIs, or agentic workflows, to build product features and engineering capabilities. You understand how to integrate, evaluate, and operate AI-powered functionality within production services while maintaining sound engineering practices. You enjoy solving complex engineering problems using code first, with AI serving as an accelerator. You take ownership of your work, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate effectively while collaborating across engineering teams.

Basic Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack web development.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, TypeScript (incl. JavaScript) or Python, and experience building data-driven web applications or dashboards.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI Coding Agents (e.g. Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI).
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vue.js, including at least one production-grade application.
• Experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Experience developing, fine-tuning, or evaluating AI models for domain-specific applications
• Experience with MLOps.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling, and experience building models for anomaly detection or predictive analytics in complex systems.
