ABOUT THE ROLE

Addressing the accelerated pace of change across the globe in how we live and work, the mission of the People and Culture (P&C) organization is to bring to life SAP’s Purpose of “Help the world run better and improve people’s live” by building a resilient organization where everybody can grow and in return sparks innovation and delivers customer success. As part of P&C organization, the People Experience team creates a unified experience for all people based on their business & geographical needs. In that context the global People Relations team is responsible for ensuring consistent and fair people relations management for complex and sensitive employee issues as well as deviations regarding performance, skill & competency, behavior, health and is managing cross board area people topics/initiatives that are relevant for a specific countries or regions.

As People Relations Partner, you:

Ensure the execution of People Relations strategy.

Create a trustful environment to deliver first-class experience to all internal and external stakeholders, employees, managers and partners through effective collaboration and communication.

Establish efficient and effective quality control measures and monitor cases for trending issues and sensitive matters to ensure appropriate awareness with key stakeholders.

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and refinement of services.

Provide guidance and manage cases related to individual sensitive topics (e.g. health, consequence management etc) as well as on managing people topics/initiatives that are relevant for a country/region (e.g. restructuring programs, return to work programs etc) to meet highest quality standards.

Involve/manage country specific activities as required

YOUR PROFILE

As People Relations Partner, you drive and execute on processes around all these sensitive tasks, through high human touch, based on your solid People Relations expertise. Beyond that, you bring passion for people topics and the willingness to learn and work yourself into content-related tasks. You bring a can-do-attitude and don’t shy away from taking on responsibility for sensitive topics that lead you

Min. 7 years of relevant work experience in HR or equivalent business roles, knowledge of people relations practices, procedures, and policies.

High empathy skills & strong ability to collaborate and develop trusted relationships with leaders, employees, legal councils, and social partners.

Superior verbal and written communication skills in English and local language.

Deep knowledge of Labor law of the country

Strong problem resolution experience, influencing and relationship building at all levels.

Pragmatic thinker with strong can-do attitude and the ability to multitask and prioritize and resolve high stress situations with calmness and diplomacy.

Outstanding consulting and coaching skills.

Experience in conflict management and critical problem solving.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The global People Relations team will help set and implement a global vision, strategy, operating model to better understand and respond to employee needs and concerns; as well deliver exceptional employee experience. This includes partnership with the business, function, and HR leaders on an in-depth review of feedback, culture & conduct, employee experience aspects of regulatory-related deliverables.
