People and Skill Development Internship

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Join SAP as a Creative Design & Multimedia Intern and help bring ideas to life through visual storytelling, animation, and digital learning experiences used by over 10,000 consultants worldwide.

As part of the Global Consulting Skill Management team, you will design engaging content that transforms complex concepts into clear, compelling, and visually impactful experiences. This internship is perfect for students passionate about graphic design, animation, and digital content creation, looking to build a strong professional portfolio.

During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Visual storytelling and communication design
  • Design Thinking for solving real-world problems
  • Animation and video production
  • Gamification techniques to enhance learning
  • Designing impactful digital learning experiences
  • Collaborating with a global team on innovative projects.

You will be supported by experienced mentors and have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world projects.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

In this role, you will combine creativity with practical impact by designing content that enhances how people learn and engage.

What you’ll create:

  • Animated explainer videos and short learning content
  • Infographics and visual guides that simplify complex ideas
  • Professional presentations for global audiences
  • Digital learning assets and interactive content.

Key responsibilities:

  • Transform complex concepts into clear, engaging visual designs
  • Produce creative multimedia content (graphics, video, animation)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design user-focused learning experiences
  • Contribute to internal platforms (blogs, wikis, social content)
  • Support virtual events, innovation sessions, and global training initiatives
  • Brainstorm and prototype creative ideas to improve learning experiences.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

We are looking for students who are creative, curious, and eager to learn.

Technical Skills:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign preferred)
  • Graphic design and visual communication
  • Video editing and/or animation (e.g. After Effects, Powtoon or similar).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong creativity and attention to detail
  • Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new ideas
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and iterate on designs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

TO APPLY

  • This intern role is paid part-time. You MUST be eligible to work approximately 20 hours per week in Australia.
  • You MUST be available to work for 12 months from August/September 2026 for 2.5 days each week.
  • Candidates MUST be enrolled in an undergraduate degree for the whole time of the internship.
  • Must be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand
