Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE:

As a Paid Search Manager, you will play a key role in elevating SAP’s global paid search practice with a strong focus on AI-driven activation, brand visibility, and event-led search strategies. Going beyond traditional performance marketing, you will be instrumental in shaping how SAP leverages search from awareness through demand generation, while fostering innovation, operational excellence and strengthen SAP's in-house execution capabilities. As the dedicated Global Corporate Brand Paid Search Point of Contact (POC), you will hold full, end-to-end ownership of SAP’s Corporate Brand Paid Search program. This is an in-house managed and executed program where you are accountable for defining the entire global strategy. Your responsibilities encompass managing all aspects of the campaign execution, ensuring governance, global consistency, and brand adherence across all regions. Furthermore, you will manage budget pacing and financial oversight to guarantee optimal allocation and efficiency, drive continuous, data-backed optimization, and deliver high-quality reporting and strategic insights to internal stakeholders across the business.

You are responsible for driving the successful adoption and scaling of AI-powered paid search across the organization. This requires deep, hands-on expertise in the configuration and optimization of advanced ad types, including Performance Max (PMax), leveraging AI-Max features, and automated bidding solutions. You will partner closely with our platform partners (Google, Microsoft, Baidu), the IMT channel teams, and our media agency to test, validate, and operationalize these innovative, AI-driven campaign formats at global scale. In addition, you will support IMT stakeholders and the media agency in the design, execution and optimization of event and awareness-focused search campaigns throughout key global and regional campaign moments. Success in this Paid Search Manager role is defined by the measurable elevation of SAP's paid search maturity, your proven ability to innovate through AI-driven solutions, your excellence in managing the Corporate Brand Search program, and the delivery of consistent, results-driven performance across all awareness and event-based initiatives.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in paid search management, execution, and reporting across full-funnel programs (from awareness to demand generation).
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in implementing and optimizing cutting-edge AI-driven campaign formats and, including Performance Max (PMax), advanced automated bidding strategies, AI-based creative optimization, and leveraging automated audience solutions.
  • Campaign Management: Proven ability to build and manage paid search campaigns end-to-end within an in-house structure, covering strategic budgeting, precise budget pacing, continuous optimization, and in-depth performance analysis and reporting.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in leveraging data to drive meaningful campaign action. Experience with advanced web analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics and media reporting platforms such as MSIGHTS.
  • Platform Proficiency: Expert-level familiarity with major paid search platforms, including Google Ads and Microsoft (Bing) Ads. Direct experience with enterprise-level tools such as Search Ads 360 (SA360) and Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) is a significant asset.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Highly skilled in cross-functional partnership and stakeholder management. Comfortable working with global teams, external media agencies, and platform partners (Google, Microsoft).
  • Mindset: Highly proactive, results-oriented, structured, and solution-focused.
  • Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).

ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Integrated Media Team (IMT) defines and executes SAP’s global paid media strategy and is responsible for delivering integrated media programs at scale in partnership with our media agency and platform partners such as Google and LinkedIn. The team specializes in digital performance and brand marketing, AI-enabled activation, and cross-channel orchestration.
