Job Description

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who combines clinical rigor with genuine human warmth. Here's what will set you up for success in this role:

  • Occupational Technical Nursing qualification (Técnico de Enfermagem do trabalho) within an active COREN-RS registration — required to practice under Brazilian NR4.
  • Experience in occupational health, clinical nursing, or a related care environment — the depth and quality of your experience matter more than the title.
  • English proficiency (written and spoken) to collaborate with international teams and document health data across SAP's global platforms.
  • A genuine people-first mindset — with empathy, active listening, and comfort in supporting individuals through emotionally sensitive or mental health-related situations.
  • Familiarity with Brazilian occupational health legislation (NR4, NR6, NR7, NR28) and standard SESMT documentation including PCMSO and ASOs.

What you'll build

In this role, you'll be the human heart of our Health & Safety team at SAP Labs Latin America in São Leopoldo — the first person our colleagues turn to when they need care, support, or guidance. Your work will directly shape the well-being of more than 2,000 people every day.

You'll build trust by delivering compassionate, professional nursing care — from emergency first response to routine health monitoring — ensuring every colleague feels safe and seen. You'll develop and maintain our occupational health records and certification processes, keeping SAP compliant with Brazilian regulatory requirements, including CLT, Regulatory Standards, and other national and international legal requirements, while continuously improving how we care for our people.

You'll create meaningful impact by:

  • Providing immediate emergency care and first-response support for workplace incidents — being the calm, steady presence people need when it matters most.
  • Running health monitoring activities, including vital signs, vaccinations, and clinical screenings, keeping our workforce healthy and informed.
  • Building seamless connections between employees and the broader SESMT team to ensure integrated, people-centered care.
  • Supporting colleagues navigating mental health challenges with empathy, discretion, and non-judgmental care, connecting them to the right resources and ensuring no one feels alone.
  • Contributing to health awareness campaigns, accident prevention programs, and SAP's global Run Healthy initiative — translating compliance into culture.
  • Communicating in English with global HR and Health & Safety teams, sharing local data and insights to strengthen SAP's worldwide wellbeing programs.

Where you belong

You'll join a close-knit, multidisciplinary SESMT team at one of SAP's most vibrant campuses — São Leopoldo, home to SAP Labs Latin America and over 2,800 colleagues. The team includes a Safety Engineer, an Occupational Physician, and two Safety Technicians, all united by the shared belief that a healthy workplace is the foundation for everything SAP builds.

This is an on-site role — because real care is personal. You'll work in a space where your clinical expertise is valued, your empathy is an asset, and your perspective is welcome at the table. SAP invests in its people, and that includes you: you'll have access to learning and development programs, global Health & Safety networks, and our Run Healthy initiative, which puts wellbeing at the center of our culture worldwide.

We're a team that collaborates across cultures and languages, embraces different backgrounds, and believes inclusion isn't a policy — it's how we work. Whether you're deepening your clinical expertise, growing into a broader health & safety role, or bringing experience from a different care environment, you'll find here a place to grow, contribute, and make a real difference in people's lives.
