Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Would you like to make a difference by contributing your knowledge, ideas, and passion to help the world run better and improve people's lives? Do you enjoy taking responsibility from day one, collaborating with others, and working in an innovative and international environment? Are you currently enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, a master's program at TU Dresden while gaining valuable practical experience with one of the world's leading employers? Then apply for SAP's Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program! SAP has repeatedly been recognized as a Top Employer and awarded for its commitment to Fair Vocational Training. As part of our Global Education organization, you'll join an international community of approximately 1,500 students and apprentices across 14 countries. The Dresden location, with more than 1,000 employees from over 30 nations, is part of the global SAP Labs Network and serves as a key innovation hub. During your practical phases, you will gain exciting insights into our teams, ways of working, and projects in areas such as Engineering Excellence, Cloud, and Customer Engagement.

What you'll do

The program begins on March 1, 2027, with a comprehensive five-week onboarding program. During this time, you'll get to know SAP, your fellow STAR participants, and our technologies while developing both your technical and personal skills. Throughout the two-year program, you will rotate through four different departments (one rotation per semester). You can choose your rotations based on your personal interests and career goals. While completing your master's degree at TU Dresden, you will complete your practical assignments at SAP Dresden. Thanks to flexible working hours and hybrid work models, your studies and work can be combined seamlessly. You will work an average of 20 hours per week, with a schedule that can be adapted to your university timetable together with your department. Towards the end of your studies, you'll have the opportunity to write your master's thesis at SAP in close collaboration with your academic supervisor. In addition, you'll benefit from a wide range of learning and development opportunities to support your professional and personal growth.

Future Perspectives

Combine your interests with the diverse career opportunities at SAP and launch your career after successfully completing your master's degree.
