Purpose and Objective:
SAP Global Marketing, Inc. seeks a Marketing Execution Senior Specialist at our New York, NY location to develop and implement SAP’s data-driven social media strategy, aligning with our business objectives and Corporate Marketing operating model.
Expectations and Tasks:
Continually innovate and anticipate changes in the digital marketing and social media landscape to ensure our strategy is both modern and effective. Act as key partner and guide to our social media agency of record, ensuring optimal ROI and delivery of compelling creative that captures attention and encourages engagement. Maintain accountability for the quality of all social media plans and content to ensure they meet the highest standards. Act as a central resource with your business and marketing stakeholders for social media-related information, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, best practices, and enthusiasm for social media across teams and programs. Partner with social media colleagues on the management, creative and operations team to support work processes, creative deliverables, audience moderation, listening and reporting practices. Serve as a key liaison across working teams, business units and regional social colleagues to ensure investment and strategy alignment across the organization. Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide thought leadership on emerging trends, while collaborating to support and achieve holistic goals. Support business partners by providing regular reviews on overall performance, ensuring transparency and accountability on an ongoing basis. Work in partnership with listening and reporting managers to ensure data accuracy and actionable insights.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Interactive Arts, Technology, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Interactive Arts, Technology, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
- Writing and implementing a social media strategy that aligns with business and marketing objectives;
- Delivering content plans, including editorial collaboration with business stakeholders, content brief writing, agency management, and final creative production;
- Utilizing social media listening tools to monitor and identify trends and audience commentary;
- Implementing design standards for content formats and quality assurance of content designed for social media platforms;
- Data analysis using social media management tools, including interpreting data, identifying actionable insights, and producing reports for non-technical stakeholders;
- Utilizing social media management platforms, including Sprinklr or Opal, for content development, publishing, and moderation work; and
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in complex global organizations to achieve objectives.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $132,264 - $225,016. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $150,300 - $255,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
