WHAT YOU'LL BUILD:

We are looking for an IT Master Data Specialist joining the EDT team, who will act as the go to person and cross organizational senior specialist for business partner and data exchange topics, in the context of CRM, ERP and S4/HANA. In this role we see the following main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Support IT’s strategic programs with technical business partner master data, MDG Supplier in different solutions like CRM, ERP, S4/HANA, MDG and SAP’s cloud portfolio.
  • Act as the go to person analyzing and understanding the dependencies of business partner data including its replication in a complex and hybrid system landscape analyze requirements, assess feasibility, effort, risk.
  • Design and implement technical solutions to evolve the business partner definition and replication in our system landscape making it ready to support new business models, like digitalization, cloud vs. on premise business.
  • Connect & collaborate closely with all affected IT units and different LoBs to establish and ensure compliance and smooth business process execution
  • Co-Innovate closely with the standard development teams from Products & Innovation providing continuous feedback, act as early adopter and help to shape the future product roadmap
  • Work in an agile and international development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently and be flexible.
  • Plan and execute handover of project deliverables in his/her area of responsibility to IT application operations & service center, who cover the day to day application operations

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related field
  • 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of the business partner data domain/model in systems like SAP CRM, SAP MDG, SAP ERP, etc.
  • Strong knowledge in MDG Supplier and MDG Finance area
  • Background in business analysis & requirements gathering and their translation into technical language
  • Technical development background in ABAP, ABAP-Objects
  • Understanding of SAP’s portfolio to master business partner master data processes
  • Proven track record of successful projects, ideally in the areas of data management
  • Experience in working with international teams across lines of business
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • High level of motivation, flexibility and agility
  • Fluent in English

As part of SAP’s CPIT Tech Services organization, Enterprise Data Technology (EDT) is responsible for providing consultancy & technology expertise in the areas of data management mastering data migration, integration, quality and governance projects in SAP’s hybrid (cloud + onPremise) system landscape. Here we act as the Business’ trusted advisor and expert, driving together the simplification of business processes based on a user-centric approach. In a joint responsibility with the respective business teams, we identify strategic priorities, determine the portfolio and corresponding execution plans.
