The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 2000 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and business applications. What you’ll build
We are seeking an IT Technology Services Specialist to join our M&A IT Team to support our M&A project and programs in Project Manager role.
This role involves supporting programs and initiatives as a Project Manager or PMO support capacity for the execution of SAP’s Post-Merger-Integration programs, Divestitures, Carve-outs, and Joint Ventures projects.
Key responsibilities include managing project or program activities such as status reporting, risk management, and handling small individual projects like to support authorization management, test coordination or cutover management.
The role also includes planning and tracking project timelines, collaborating with scrum teams, and facilitating meetings, workshops, and agile events. Additionally, it supports the orchestration of project delivery and ensures smooth communication between business stakeholders and delivery teams. There's also a focus on evolving program governance and building an internal knowledge platform to document our best practices.
The IT Technology Services Specialist will support our M&A IT team in managing the following tasks:
- Support our projects and initiatives the Program Office in Project Manager or Program Management Office Support roles
- Taking over responsibility for program management activities such as program status reporting or risk management
- Plan, track, and schedule project timelines, meetings, and milestones using appropriate tools
- Manage individual small projects like authorization management, test coordination, cutover management, data management, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Work with the scrum master and product teams to prepare agile events like sprint review meetings
- Support the orchestration of delivery, value flow and collaboration projects, including alignments with business stakeholders and delivery teams
- Organization, moderation, and follow up of meetings and workshops
- Encourage collaboration and communication between teams to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
- Support evolving our program governance, M&A processes, methods, templates, tools and stakeholder communication and build internal knowledge platform by creating or updating documentation and standards
What you bring
- Master or Diploma university degree (preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Information technology or a related field) or equivalent training and job experience
- +3 years of professional experience, ideally in IT, IT Consulting, or IT Application Consulting (SAP technology)
- Up to 3 years of previous professional work experience in IT project management or management of strategic or transformational projects
- Excellent change, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to drive customer focus, business acumen, and innovation
- Pronounced quality awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Experience & interest in agile project management methodologies, ideally in Scrum or SAFe
- Experience & interest strategic or transformational projects like Mergers and Acquisitions
