What you'll build

As a Strategic Program Manager (m/f/d), you will lead our largest and most complex SAP customer transformations, implementing and rolling out both private and public cloud SAP solutions. The key pupose is helping SAP customers to realize maximum business benefits from their SAP investments and innovate fast.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead customer transformations

  • Define business objectives jointly with customer and SAP account management and plan IT transformation
  • Manage engagement stakeholders and mentor the overall program team (customer, partner, SAP)
  • Lead engagement across all involved SAP business units and deliver:
    • on time
    • within the approved budget
    • to the contracted scope
    • meeting the quality criteria
  • Leverage state-of-the-art methodology and tools (SAP Activate, RISE methodology, SAP Integrated Toolchain, AI…)

Support SAP account management

  • Contribute to SAP-customer relationship by connecting personally and delivering excellent results
  • Identify opportunities for SAP to further help customers
  • Support major deals with your experience and personality

Knowledge sharing and mentoring

  • Contribute to improve SAP with your experience (developing and sharing best practices, mentoring etc.)

What you bring

  • Multiple years of experience in setting up and leading very large (50+ consultants) and complex SAP customer transformations to success, implementing and rolling out both private and public cloud SAP solutions, preferably at a consulting / system integration company
  • Demonstrated experience in managing, aligning and working with various levels within a customer organization (project, business, executive) as well as different parts of large global organizations
  • Master's degree, preferably in business, engineering, computer science
  • Excellent knowledge of project management, ideally PMI PgMP certified
  • Excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art methodology and tools (SAP Activate, RISE methodology, SAP Integrated Toolchain, AI…)
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English

The mission of the Delivery and Program Office (DPO) MEE is to drive success of our customers' transformations across Middle and Eastern Europe (Germany, Switzerland, and Central and Eastern Europe). To achieve this, the DPO hosts four teams, including a team of SAP's most experienced Program Managers leading very large customer transformations.
