What you’ll build

We are seeking a IT Technology Services Specialist to join our M&A IT Team to support our M&A Post-Merger-Integration projects and programs in a workstream lead and Subject Matter Expert role.

This role primarily acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a defined business process area, providing deep functional expertise throughout the SAP transformation. The specific business process area will be assigned, and the required domain knowledge will be provided and can be developed on the job.
Together with other SAP business process experts, you will lead and execute As-Is and Fit-to-Standard workshops, translate business requirements into functional and technical designs, and ensure alignment with SAP best practices for your process area.

In addition, the role includes responsibility for coordinating the assigned workstream, including work planning, status reporting, risk and dependency management, and stakeholder alignment.
You will actively support testing activities, data migration validation, cut-over preparation, and post go-live hypercare, ensuring a stable and high-quality solution for your business process area.

We are looking to onboard a Workstream Lead / Subject Matter Expert for one of the following business process areas: Marketing & Sales, Fulfillment & Provisioning, Order Management & Invoicing or Revenue Accounting.

The IT Technology Services Specialist will support our M&A IT team in managing the following tasks:

  • Work with colleagues from our acquired companies to understand and document their As-Is Business Processes, systems and data
  • Together with SAP Business process experts, conduct Fit-to-Standard analysis workshops to identify business process differences
  • Create functional and technical designs and support user story creation and alignment with respective IT product owner
  • Work closely together with our Architects to plan target state architecture and business processes
  • Analyze the data objects for your business process area and identify Data Migration requirements, support with data mapping exercise, and engage in data migration validations
  • Support testing activities, data migration validations, cut-over, and post go-live hypercare support for your workstream
  • Complete documentation of Lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop detailed workplans with activities necessary to achieve the target state and successful migration and go-live for your workstream
  • Prepare regular workstream status updates and identify workstream risks
  • Encourage collaboration and communication between your workstream and the project PMO team to ensure alignment
  • Support evolving our M&A processes, methods, templates, tools for your own workstream

What you bring

Required Skills:

  • Master or Diploma university degree (preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Information technology or a related field) or equivalent training and job experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in IT, IT Consulting, IT Application Consulting (SAP technology), or experience in Business Process Management in one of the following business process areas: Marketing & Sales, Fufillment & Provisioning, Order Managmenent & Invocing or Revenue Accounting
  • Excellent change, communication, and presentation skills with a proven track record
  • Ability to drive customer focus, business acumen, and innovation
  • Pronounced quality awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Experience & interest in agile methodologies, ideally in Scrum or SAFe
  • Experience & interest in SAP Solutions or SAP Technology
  • Experience & interest in strategic or transformational projects like Mergers and Acquisitions
