Role Overview

The Expert Value Advisor is a strategic catalyst for accelerating organisational digital transformation by aligning technology investments with core business objectives. This role focuses on crafting compelling value narratives through robust business cases, comprehensive value roadmaps, and ROI models that substantiate transformation initiatives. By harnessing AI-driven insights, SaaS strategies, Cloud architectures, and SAP solutions and capabilities, you will engage C-suite executives and senior stakeholders in collaborative value assessments, driving measurable outcomes and sustainable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Virtual Account Teams (VATs) to Define and Articulate Value Propositions for SAP's Solutions and Services
  Understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities; collaborate on account strategies to position SAP as a strategic partner, influencing executive-level decisions through value-based sales plays.
• Lead Value Discovery & Business Case Development
  Conduct value assessments, map innovation scenarios, and quantify economic impact using AI, SAP Signavio Process Insights, benchmarking and modelling tools.
• Champion Value Management Practices
  Develop business cases and financial analysis aligned with customer priorities and SAP’s strategic goals while establishing frameworks for continuous value realisation for example, leveraging SAP Signavio Process Insights, Value Lifecycle Management (VLM) and Value Modelling Tools.
• Engage Senior Stakeholders
  Present findings and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Collaborate Across SAP Ecosystem
  Work closely with pre-sales, solution engineers, industry advisors, architect advisors, and global value advisory to deliver holistic transformation strategies.
• Promote Thought Leadership
  Represent SAP at industry events and on social platforms, sharing insights on Cloud transformation, AI adoption, and Sustainability-driven innovation. Create reusable assets and templates for value engagements and thought leadership.
• Enhance Methodologies & Tools
  Continuously evolve value advisory practices to progress pipeline, deliver tangible business outcomes, and increase adoption and consumption of SAP cloud solutions and services.

Qualifications

• Experience
  • 12+ years in Management Consulting, Customer Advisory, and / or Industry Solutions, with at least 7 years in Public Services or related sectors.

• Deep understanding and proven track record in Cloud, SaaS, Data & AI, and enterprise architecture principles.

• Expertise
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Public Sector landscape and value creation frameworks for example, public sector organisations and agencies, processes, strategic imperatives, investment criteria, budget cycles etc.

• Familiarity with SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Signavio, SAP Business AI, SAP BTP, SAP BDC, and industry-specific offerings.

• Skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in SaaS Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) creation, value modelling, and developing impactful business case narratives.
• Ability to synthesise complex scenarios into clear, actionable insights.
• Group facilitation skills (Design Thinking or similar methods preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

• Education
  MBA or equivalent degree from a recognised institution.
