The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 2000 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and business applications. Most recently, SAP Labs Bulgaria expanded in the topics of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for actively monitoring SaaS cloud solutions and initiate immediate action to restore availability in case of service disruption or degradation. As a Cloud Operations Engineer you will drive customer communication, ongoing investigation in collaboration with internal development teams, escalation and bridge call with the affected Line of Businesses and restoration activities. You will also be working in a team that operates multiple products on multiple infrastructures, therefore your agility and ability to proactively learn and adapt will be key to make you efficient. You will be part of continous service improvement initiatives.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

• Provision, monitor and operate customer cloud solutions
• Ensure fast troubleshooting, remediation and restoration
• Take part of and drive global team projects to continuously optimize procedures and processes and onboard new services

This role requires 24/7 shifts including weekends and night shift work

What you bring:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• 3+ Years of experince in the area or equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems throughout the whole technology stack
• Knowledge with Hyperscalers, Cloud Foundry and K8S
• Knowledge with monitoring solutions, such as Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace
• Excellent team player, self-motivated, passionate and highly driven
• Proactiveness and agility, adapting quickly to dynamic environment
• Fluent English

Meet your team:
Our organization is spread globally – we have teams in Germany, Canada, India, China and Bulgaria. Sofia is our largest location. The position is part of the Analytics and Intelligent Technologies unit within Sofia organization. This unit is responsible for operating SAP SaaS solutions, e.g. Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, Machine Learning, Data Warehouse Cloud and others. The team works shoulder to shoulder with the Development units that develop these solutions to ensure best-in-class cloud service through safeguarding high availability.
