Summary:

As a Senior Developer in the Cloud Reporting Team, you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of a best-in-class reporting application and data foundation platform. You will work on scalable data integration, processing pipelines, and business-critical KPI frameworks that support enterprise-wide decision-making.

The Role:

In this role, you will take ownership of complex development tasks within the Cloud Reporting Team, focusing on building robust and high-performing solutions for data collection, processing, and reporting. You will design and implement data integration pipelines, develop complex business logic, and ensure high data quality and consistency across systems.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical designs, and deliver scalable solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in I&DF, A2C, and Product Engineering will be essential to ensure seamless data flows and alignment with enterprise data strategy.

Additionally, you will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and actively drive improvements in development standards, performance optimization, and automation within the team.

Role Requirements:

• Strong hands-on development experience in SAP technologies, including ABAP, CDS, Fiori UI5, and RAP
• Proven experience in data integration, data processing, and implementing complex business logic
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
• Good communication skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Work Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP software development
• Hands-on experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
• Experience in building enterprise-grade data-driven applications and reporting solutions
• Experience working with SAP data models and cloud-based architectures is a plus
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in agile environments

The A2C Insights & Data Foundation unit drives the centralization and elevation of data quality and harmonization while delivering cross-tool analytical insights for roles, applications, and dashboards. It includes key reporting assets such as Cloud Reporting and serves as a backbone for business-critical data-driven applications.
