We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP ABAP & UI5 Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between backend business data and high-performance frontend interfaces. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying end-to-end custom solutions on both SAP ECC / S/4HANA systems and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

The ideal candidate will have robust roots in Core ABAP, modern hands-on experience with S/4HANA programming models (such as RAP/CAP and CDS Views), and a proven track record of building custom freestyle and extension-based SAPUI5/Fiori applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Application Development: Design and develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable backend objects using Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP). Maintain and optimize classic RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) items while driving clean core development standards.
  
• Frontend UI Development: Build custom freestyle SAPUI5 applications and enhance standard SAP Fiori elements utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MVC architecture.
  
• Data Modeling & API Exposure: Develop and consume Core Data Services (CDS Views), AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and build scalable OData Services (v2/v4) via SEGW or the RESTful Application Programming (RAP) framework.
  
• System Integration: Configure and manage SAP Fiori Launchpad environments and deploy applications directly onto SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Cloud Foundry or on-premise gateways.
  
• Performance Tuning: Diagnose, trace, and eliminate runtime performance bottlenecks in both complex database queries and frontend payload processing.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP and UI5.
  
• Good to have knowledge on Fiori & BTP
  
• Proficient in coding and scripting languages like Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or ABAP for custom SAP applications.
  
• Strong understanding of SAP cloud technologies, data models, and SAP HANA.
  
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  

Preferred Skills:

• SAP certifications would be a plus.
  
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  
• Previous experience with SAP ABAP, UI5, Fiori and SAP Business Applications is highly desirable.
