What you’ll build

You will join our architecture team as an experienced Principal Development Architect to help us meet our objectives.

  • Manage technical stakeholder relationships to establish alignment and expectations to maximize our success and investments
  • Develop technical strategies and architectural approaches to solve our hardest challenges
  • Work through ambiguity in a matrixed organization crossing multiple lines of business and engineering teams
  • Conduct PoCs and technical pathfinding exercises to validate approaches and hypotheses
  • Communicate and document recommendations and designs clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholder audiences

What you will bring:

  • 8 or more years of experience as an Architect, Technical Product Manager, or role in a software development leader capacity
  • Experience and domain knowledge of delivering cloud infrastructure and services at scale
  • Knowledge of non-functional qualities and compliance of SaaS-delivered software
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation capabilities, as well as strong collaboration with various teams and skillsets
  • Hands-on experience of developing software for automation and integration purposes
  • Experience with SDOL, SSDLC, and LEAN
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native, and AI technologies and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of Agile, FinOps, and value-driven Service Management and Delivery Practices
  • Excitement to apply an engineering discipline to our cloud operations and delivery services
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or requisite job experience and certifications
  • Familiarity with HPOM a plus

CDX SM Cloud Ops' mission is to safely increase developer velocity and reduce cloud costs. Our goal is to minimize friction by balancing long-term feature velocity, security, and reliability. We serve the Spend Management Product Engineering teams and customers to deliver products at cloud-scale. We operate with an SRE culture and apply a software engineering approach to the delivery and operation of our services.
