What you’ll build:
As a Development Architect, you'll be shaping enterprise data management and cloud transformation solutions. You will design systems to transition legacy SAP systems to modern cloud platforms, ensuring quality and migration readiness.
Tackle technical challenges by architecting solutions that analyze data health, detect issues, and offer intelligent remediation. You'll design AI-powered automation, resilient microservices, and employ machine learning to make data preparation proactive. Lead cloud-native development for preparation and execution of ECC to S/4HANA Cloud migrations affecting thousands worldwide.
Your architectural decisions will guide product direction and strategy. You will collaborate with product management to translate business needs into technical solutions, steering development teams through implementation challenges and establishing best practices for AI-powered data transformation.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect cloud-native solutions for data management and application transitions
- Make critical decisions on architecture, technology, design patterns and non-functional requirements
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design specifications
- Work as part of a development team and implement key application capabilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team
- Establish coding standards and drive engineering best practices
- Research emerging technologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges
- Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders, development, and partner teams
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; 10+ years of software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Framework, cloud platforms, and cloud-native development patterns
- Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and AI/ML technologies in enterprise software
- Proficiency in CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in architecting large-scale applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and strong English communication capabilities
Preferred:
- Practical experience with LLM and AI agent development
- Experience with SAP technologies (BTP, S/4HANA, ABAP) and data management practices
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, security best practices, and Python or Go
- Background in performance optimization and scalability engineering
