What you build
As a Developer for Sustainability Ecosystem Engineering, you will collaborate with engineers from SAP partner organizations and functional experts within the team to build analytic, integration and data content for Sustainability Cloud products. Your initial focus will be on designing, prototyping and documenting the various approaches to bring together SAP products and partner capabilities, thereby generating value for our end customers. You will also contribute to Proof of Concepts at lighthouse customers executed by SAP Partners and SAP Ecosystem Engineering. As you progress in this role, you will deliver Solution Area expertise and connect with the Partner’s business stakeholders to drive customer adoption and value realization.
In this role, you will:
- Support the design, development and implementation of cloud-based integrations between SAP Sustainability and SAP Partner products, thereby delivering joint value to businesses during their journey toward sustainability.
- Work closely with your team in an agile environment, learning from experienced architects/consultants and contributing to innovation.
- Focus on various approaches in the SAP technology stack for integrating partner software with SAP Cloud for Sustainable Enterprises.
- Participate in hands-on integration/content development tasks and assist in setting up systems/tenants to explore integration options.
What you bring
Required skills
- Experience in software engineering, particularly in systems integration, configuration and customization.
- A passion for learning new products, configuring for business scenarios, debugging integration errors and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with software engineering concepts such as API based solution integration, database design, testing and documentation.
- A structured approach to tasks and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- A self-starter attitude with a passion for learning and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity of configuring and implementing cloud-native software.
- Knowledgde of SQL and database scripting.
- 1-3 years of experience as a software engineer or technical consultant.
- Familiarity and curiosity with technology trends in AI; application of AI to Partner integration scenarios
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
Optional skills
- Knowledge in the sustainability domain, especially regulations and carbon economy.
- Experience with workflow and data collection software
- Experience with related SAP solutions and technologies, such as SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, SAP Cloud for Sustainable Enterprises, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Buisness AI
