What you`ll build:

High-quality master data is foundational to every AI, governance, and analytics initiative at SAP. Our innovative and collaborative Enterprise Data Technology team ensures data excellence, delivers actionable insights, and enables seamless data access across the organization. We operate in three agile teams following SAFe methodology, managing comprehensive data quality solutions including SAP Information Steward, Data Quality Services, and the Data Quality Framework.

In this role, you will own end-to-end data quality and modeling responsibilities across multiple teams:

• Design and implement sophisticated data models in SAP HANA, translating complex business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using SAP Data Services, including code review, optimization, and legacy system modernization
• Engineer data quality rules collaboratively with business stakeholders, then visualize and report results through SAP Information Steward
• Own legacy codebases, refactoring and improving data services processes with a forward-thinking mindset
• Deliver quality metrics in defined formats for downstream data consumption and analytics
• Champion continuous improvement, taking initiative to identify optimization opportunities and technical debt

What You Bring:

• 5+ years hands-on experience with SAP Data Services and SAP HANA
• Deep technical expertise in SAP Information Steward implementation and administration
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex stored procedures, performance optimization, and data modeling best practices
• Strong code review mindset with passion for clean code, documentation, and knowledge sharing
• Self-starter mentality with enthusiasm for taking ownership of legacy systems and driving modernization
• Proven ability to quickly master emerging technologies (e.g., SAP Datasphere)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with solution-oriented problem-solving approach
