What you’ll do

User experience design is essential for successful software development.
You will be joining the User Experience Design team for SAP Supply Chain Management, a key pillar in the SAP ERP Cloud portfolio. Focused on the SAP Cloud strategy, our team is responsible for designing solutions that shape the future of businesses in one of the largest market segments our company supports.

We regularly collaborate with customers and colleagues in international settings.
As a User Experience Design Specialist in our team, you will:

• Feel responsible for a product area or sub-area from a UX perspective and work closely with Product Management and Development to find opportunities for improvement and growth of the related services.

• Coordinate UX activities across multiple development teams and support the assigned UX Designers.

• Collaborate on user journeys and interaction design prototypes for a harmonized user experience across products.

• Mentor junior colleagues on various aspects of design.

• Engage in user research and usability testing as the basis for your designs.

What you bring

• A degree in Interaction Design, Media or Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or comparable fields.

• You are an expert in mobile solutions and can craft high end products for Apple, Microsoft and Android devices

• Around 5 years of experience in software development, ideally within a cloud company.

• Passion for improving end-to-end processes and workflows.

• Deep understanding of the market and customers as the foundation for your design decisions.

• Experience in organizing larger projects from a UX Design perspective and coordinating other UX Designers, possibly across locations.

• Excellent communication skills in English and German (both spoken and written), combined with a collaborative attitude.

• Curiosity to understand technical products and their users is of high importance in our domain.
