Purpose and Objectives


We are seeking a Global Car Fleet Business Operations & Communication (Senior) Specialist to join our Global Car Fleet organization within Global Procurement. This role plays a key part in driving cross-functional alignment, operational efficiency, and effective communication across regional and global fleet operations. Acting as a strategic interface between internal stakeholders, leadership, and external partners, this position supports planning, coordination, content creation, and change management initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of business priorities.

The Global Car Fleet organization is part of Global Procurement and manages SAP’s company car fleets in more than 40 countries worldwide. With approximately 33,000 vehicles under management, our mission is to provide SAP employees with the best possible mobility benefits while keeping sustainability at the core of our strategy.

Reporting directly to the Head of CoE Global Car Fleet, this position contributes to the ongoing development and harmonization of operational processes, communication standards, and change management practices. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, helping the Global Car Fleet team enhance cross-functional collaboration, business alignment, and operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Drive cross-functional initiatives across regions and teams, ensuring alignment, timely execution, and measurable results.

• Plan, organize, and manage meetings, agendas, and follow-ups, ensuring clarity of objectives and action items.

• Serve as a strategic point of contact for internal and external communication, using common collaboration platforms to ensure consistent, professional messaging across stakeholders.

• Develop high-quality content, including presentations, reports, business cases, and visual/analytical materials, leveraging AI tools where relevant to support leadership decision-making.

• Support organizational change initiatives, facilitating smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements, operational efficiencies, and best practices.

• Monitor and report on operational initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to leadership to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.

What you bring

• A university degree in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in operational coordination, business operations, or strategic communication in an international or multi-regional context, including supporting leadership teams.

• Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives, facilitate collaboration, and manage complex operational priorities, including leveraging AI tools where relevant to support decision-making or process optimization.

• Strong experience in content creation for leadership and stakeholder engagement, including presentations, reports, business cases, and event planning support.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English, both spoken and written, mandatory; German is a plus.

• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience supporting change management initiatives and embedding new processes or ways of working is a plus.
