The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 2000 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and business applications. Most recently, SAP Labs Bulgaria expanded in the topics of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. What you'll do

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) who is enthusiastic and passionate about technology and fascinated by its unlimited possibilities to strengthen our BTP Landscape Team.

In this role, you’ll be playing a central role in the global expansion of the SAP Business Technology Platform, driving the reliable and seamless delivery of its core services through a strong commitment to excellence

In this role:

· You will be part of the team building the foundation of the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).

· You will develop and operate services that are the technical heart of our cloud platform.

· You will build Cloud optimization services from conception to operations.

· You will contribute to automated deployments within the SAP development landscape into our customer’s landscapes.

· You help develop and maintain tools to aid the continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) process.

· You also collaborate across the product management, engineering and various other partners who are providing the Cloud technology stack to build the product and solutions.

· You will help with engagement delivery and continuous development of our offering

What you bring

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

· Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud technologies

· Programming experience in an industry standard language such as Java, Bash, Python

· Experience in working with Unix / Linux environments

· Hands-on experience with agile software engineering and CI/CD best practices

· Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban / Scrumban)

· Highly motivated, with a willingness to quickly acquire new knowledge

· Excellent team player with strong time management skills, and a passion for your work

· Confident communication skills in English (both written and spoken)

Tech you bring:

· Good knowledge in automation and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Concourse CI

· Experience with different IaaS providers is beneficial.

· At least 2 years experience in respective software development area
