As an (Associate) JavaScript Developer, you’ll craft high-quality code that pushes the boundaries of AI-powered enterprise software development. Responsibilities:

• Design, build, maintain, and support BTP ABAP AI Hub using JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver solutions that are viable, feasible, and intuitive for users
• Apply Agile practices by actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives
• Translate product strategy and requirements into well-architected, high-quality code; assess technical feasibility and align with architectural standards
• Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, refactoring, testing, and adoption of best practices and emerging technologies

What you bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (strong academic record is a plus)
• Proven proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
• Solid understanding of database systems and SQL
• Hands-on experience with web and cloud technologies, including Node.js and HTTP-based network protocols
• Familiarity with the SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment and the ABAP programming language is an advantage
• Genuine curiosity and passion for AI technology and its role in shaping the future of software development
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in both German and English, enabling effective collaborationin a diverse, multicultural team
