The Role:

Join our open-minded young Scrum team to develop, scale, test and operate data-driven microservices in modern hyperscaler environment. You will be using familiar open-source resources and development tools, including AI assistants and work in a Kanban team. Our team is dynamic, helpful, and welcoming to learners. You will work directly with external and internal customers and be a full team member from day one. This role offers an excellent opportunity to dive into the big data, develop your skills, and make a meaningful impact within a supportive team.

What You`ll Do:

• You will create complex data processing pipelines and data APIs and ensure their high quality and high availability with the suite of test and monitoring systems.
• This position is ideal for experienced or aspiring professional, who likes data processing, can and like to manage complexity and enjoy designing secure and reliable data systems.

What You Bring:

• Strong background in distributed system design, complex type systems, test driven development, observability and monitoring, resiliency of data pipelines.
• Beneficial is experience with cost optimization of hyperscaler-hosted systems.
• You should be familiar with AI-assisted development and aware of its limits.
• Firsthand experience with the technologies like Google Cloud Platform, GitHub Actions, Python, Pydantic is a plus.
• Knowledge of secure software development principles – vulnerability testing, authentication protocols, encryption is beneficial.
• Effective communication and writing skills, willingness to learn and teach is strong advantage.

Enumeration:

• Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Informatics or other fields, where substantial attention to programming, computer system design and information technology is given.
• Programming sills: test driven development, development of distributed systems, complex typing systems, declarative infrastructure, observability, and monitoring, resilient programming.
• Preferred experience: Implementation highly available distributed data-intensive applications. Experience with processing of data with complex semantics. Experience with complex typing systems.
• Additional skills: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or other hyperscaler, Github Actions or other CI/CD orchestrators.
• Languages: Fluency in English and German is required.

Our cross-function analytics team collects and processes telemetry created by maintenance tools to understand and reduce disruption.
