Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you'll build

SAP is the backbone of global commerce, and our team in Brno is undertaking its most critical mission yet: redefining how the world’s largest companies prepare for the future. We are establishing a new engineering group focused on Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), dedicated to transforming static financial data into an autonomous, AI-driven strategy.

This endeavor goes beyond simply maintaining existing tools; it’s about creating the next generation of SAP Business AI from scratch. In our Brno hub, you will become part of a pioneering team of innovators responsible for integrating large language models, predictive forecasting, and autonomous agents into the financial core of Fortune 500 companies.

Becoming part of a team during a high-growth phase offers more than just employment; it provides the opportunity to join a diverse group of new colleagues who are all learning and growing together. You will benefit from an environment rich in technical expertise, extensive internal mobility, and the chance to help shape the culture of a major new SAP hub from its inception.

Core Responsibilities:

You will oversee a large-scale engineering organisation, managing multiple teams and managers to achieve our most strategic Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) initiatives. As a key architect of the Brno site's success, you will be responsible for talent strategy, resource allocation, and alignment with high-level stakeholders. You will ensure that as our workforce grows to hundreds of people, our teams maintain agility, our vision remains clear, and we continue to deliver world-class software at the speed of a startup.

Organisational Scaling:

Experience managing "managers of managers" and scaling engineering organisations from dozens to hundreds.

Strategic Alignment:

Ability to translate corporate business goals into actionable engineering roadmaps.

Stakeholder Management:

Experience negotiating priorities with global executives and cross-functional partners (Product, UX, Sales).

Cultural Stewardship:

A track record of defining and maintaining a high-performance engineering culture across a large-scale site.

AI Literacy:

Familiarity with principles of Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) through academic, personal or professional projects.

What you bring
