Position Summary

As a Quality Technician based in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of production quality at our third-party enclosure vendor sites. You will be responsible for conducting inspections at various stages, including receiving, storage, pre-production, and final audits. Your keen eye for detail will help identify and address quality concerns, ensuring that our products meet the exceptional standards associated with the Rolls-Royce brand.

What you will be doing

· Inspect gensets and components at receiving, storage, and production stages to identify transport damage, packaging issues, and quality non-conformances.

· Perform final product audits using quality checklists and complete customer inspection documentation.

· Record non-conformances and quality notifications in SAP and track corrective actions and process improvements with enclosure vendors.

· Support continuous improvement and supplier development by providing accurate data and participating in quality projects.

· Monitor and document the receipt, storage, and use of ship-short loose parts, and keep management informed of quality concerns and progress.

Basic Requirements:

· Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Quality Engineering, or related field

· In lieu of degree, 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or repair of large equipment

· In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent. Resident Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Preferred Requirements:

· Knowledge of RRPS components and products

· Experience in the use of hand tools, torque wrenches.

· Ability to read drawings and 2+ years of specifications (mechanical and electrical).

· Strong knowledge of parts and equipment in a manufacturing environment with large equipment.

· Basic knowledge of using measuring equipment.

Mental & Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift, push, pull weights in the 20-60 lb. range.

· Ability to bend down, stand over, lay down and complete work tasks within the tight confines typical of genset enclosures and compartments and/or engine rooms for long periods of time.
