An exciting Programme Director opportunity has become available within our dedicated Infrastructure Business Unit. As the ProgrammeDirector, you will lead the client team in delivery of a multi-billion-pound investment sub-programme, across several major projects, driving commercial performance and on-time delivery. So, if you have demonstrable experience as a Programme Director, Senior Programme Manager or Delivery Director across Nuclear, Defence, Transport, Energy & Utilities or other high hazard, complex manufacturing and operational industries this will be an excellent match for you.

What you will be doing:

  • Accountable to the Director of Infrastructure for project and programme performance in delivery of this major sub-programme, to meet the functional scope defined by the sponsoring business

  • Governance and leadership of Heads of Project to deliver defined major projects to agreed schedule, cost and quality commitments

  • Executive interface with tier one supply chain partners

  • Commercial accountability for design & delivery partners

  • Senior Leadership Team member, contributing to the development of the DBU approach and change programme

Position requirements:

  • Experience of delivering large scale, complex, infrastructure projects, and programmes

  • Breadth of commercial experience within a collaborative framework, with specific experience of NEC4 contracts

  • Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and driving commercial performance

  • Strong collaborative stakeholder engagement capabilities
